HP ENVY Laptop Can’t Boot from Debian USB—Any Tips?

I'm having trouble getting my HP ENVY Laptop (16-h1xxx) to recognize my USB drive when I try to boot into Debian. I've disabled secure boot and switched from an older SanDisk to a USB 3.0 drive, but it still doesn't show up in the boot menu. My laptop doesn't support legacy booting, so I'm stuck. Am I missing something?

First, it’s a good idea to double-check how you created your USB drive. Did you use Rufus? Sometimes the settings can be tricky, especially for a newbie. Just making sure you followed the right steps!

Yeah, I used Rufus, but I'm still figuring it out, so maybe I did something wrong.
