I Got Redirected to a Scam Site on My Phone—Am I Safe?

While browsing an art app, I was unexpectedly redirected to a scam site that promised prizes. I didn't click on anything and left the site immediately. I cleared my cookies and cache, checked my Google account for any suspicious logins, and scanned my phone (SM-S928U) with Bitdefender Mobile, which confirmed there was no infection. I also checked my files and found nothing. After restarting my phone and scanning again, I'm still in the clear. Am I just being overly cautious, or should I be worried?

You're probably okay! The biggest risk comes from using an outdated web browser, which could expose you to threats like drive-by downloads. If your browser is up to date with the latest security updates, you should be in good shape. Just keep an eye on your apps and overall phone performance for any odd behavior. You're likely just being a bit paranoid, which is totally understandable after an experience like that!

Thanks for the reassurance! I'm pretty sure Chrome updated recently, so I think I'm safe. How can I double-check for issues related to that drive-by download?
