I'm trying to run a specific application and it keeps showing a message saying, "to run this application, you must install .net core." I'm given the option to download it, but neither option works. I've already tried downloading several different versions of .NET, but nothing seems to help. Am I missing a specific version or could there be another issue?

Hey there! Just a heads up, .NET Core development has wrapped up, but you can find the last version available for download, which is .NET Core 3. You might have better luck with that. Sometimes, older applications need a particular version that’s not the latest, so trying that could help you out.
I've already downloaded that version... it feels like the installer just won't recognize it.
