Hey everyone! I'm experiencing a frustrating problem with my desktop PC where it keeps switching between ethernet and wireless connections randomly. When I disable the Wi-Fi and try to rely solely on the ethernet, it still disconnects and reconnects frequently. I've had this computer for about 5 to 6 years, but this issue only started cropping up around July. It's not a major problem for daily use, but I need to sort it out since I'm interviewing for a remote work position soon. This issue only affects my desktop, as my phone, laptop, and my roommates' devices are working just fine. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? Am I looking at needing a new network card? Thanks for your help!

What version of Windows are you using? Sometimes updating or reinstalling network drivers for Windows 10 or 11 can help resolve connection issues.
Have you tried swapping out the ethernet cable? A faulty cable can sometimes cause intermittent connection problems.
Yes, I've tried a few different cables, but the issue persists.

I’m currently on Windows 10.
