I have an iPhone 12 mini running iOS 26.6. The audio had already been unusually quiet even at full volume while I was watching a YouTube video, and then the sound stopped completely. Restarting the phone, checking Sounds & Haptics, and switching Silent Mode on and off didn't help. Since Bluetooth headphones still work, the problem is probably limited to the phone’s speaker rather than YouTube or the overall audio system.
