I found an open box 9060 XT 8GB at Microcenter for $239. I want to know if this is a good price. I'm specifically looking for a decent AMD graphics card that works well with Linux, and possibly for some gaming too. Any insights would be appreciated!

You're getting a $50 discount compared to the lowest price I've seen on PCPartPicker, which is a sweet deal! Just keep in mind that if you can, the 16GB version would be a better option for future-proofing.

Good point! How much is the 16GB version going for around here?

One thing to consider is the risk of coil whine since it’s an open box item. Make sure you have a return option just in case it doesn't work out. But otherwise, for that price, it's a great find!

Haha, that's true! At my age, I can't even hear coil whine anymore! Those old CRT monitors had a different kind of noise I remember well.
