Is 2x16GB DDR5 worth $120 more than 4x8GB for a Ryzen 7 7800X3D?

I'm in Chile and building a PC around a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, mainly for games like Rust and Arma 3. I found an open-box 2x16GB DDR5-6000 CL30 kit for about $480 total after shipping, while a local reseller can provide two 2x8GB kits—four 8GB sticks total—rated at DDR5-6000 CL38 for around $360.
I've read that using four DDR5 sticks can be harder to run at the advertised speed and may require lowering the memory speed or relaxing timings. I'm new to building PCs and especially care about smooth performance and 1% lows. Is the 2x16GB kit worth paying an extra $120 for, or would a stable 4x8GB setup perform similarly in actual gameplay?

I’d lean toward the 2x16GB kit. Four DDR5 sticks put more stress on the memory controller, and mixing two separate kits can make DDR5-6000 unstable even when both kits have the same advertised specifications. With the 7800X3D, 2x16GB at 6000 MT/s with CL30 is a well-established configuration and should give you better odds of running the intended settings consistently.
