I spotted a used 3070 Ti at a local store priced at $300. Should I go for it, or is that not a good deal?

It really depends on where you’re located. In some countries, $300 could be decent, but generally, $300 seems high. You might want to check if you can find an RTX 3080 for about $350 instead. I'd definitely pick that over a 3070 Ti for the same price.

That's a good point! I'll keep an eye out for 3080s at that price.

I managed to get a brand new 9060 XT 8GB for $250 recently. It performs comparably to the 3070 Ti and is actually better for ray tracing while consuming less power. A used 3070 Ti should probably be priced under $250 if that's the case.

Honestly, $300 is a bit steep for that card. The 3070 Ti usually sells for around $200 to $220. For $300, you could get something like an RX 9060 XT 8GB or an RTX 5060, which might be a better choice.
