I'm getting my first prebuilt gaming PC and want to make sure the memory is adequate. The system has an Intel i9-14900K, an RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5200 MT/s with CL40 timing, a 2TB NVMe SSD, a 360mm liquid cooler, and several case fans. I'll mainly play Roblox and Rocket League while occasionally keeping a couple of apps and browser tabs open. An AI assistant told me that CL40 isn't very good, so I'm wondering whether this RAM will noticeably hurt performance or whether I'm worrying over nothing.

That RAM is perfectly usable for what you described. DDR5-5200 CL40 is on the slower and higher-latency side compared with faster kits such as DDR5-6000 CL30 or CL32, but 32GB is plenty for Roblox, Rocket League, multitasking, and normal gaming. You might lose a small amount of performance in some situations, but it won’t make the PC bad or unusable. The rest of the system is far more than enough for those games.
Make sure the listing really says 5200 MT/s, since latency by itself doesn’t tell the whole story. CL40 at 5200 is acceptable, just not especially optimized. If the prebuilt lets you change memory settings, enable its XMP profile, but don’t worry about replacing the RAM immediately. Only consider an upgrade later if you’re chasing maximum performance or the price difference is small.
