I just ordered parts for a new PC build, including a 9070xt and a Ryzen 5 9600, and decided to get 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz CL48 RAM because it was $50 off. However, during my research, I've come across some opinions suggesting that CL48 is subpar. I'm not particularly worried about losing a few frames in gaming, but I want to know if the performance drop is significant enough to justify getting a new pair of RAM sticks.

If you’re using a non-X3D CPU, like the Ryzen 5 9600, faster memory can have a pretty noticeable impact on performance—up to around 20% in CPU-limited scenarios. Spending a little extra on quicker RAM might be worth it. For your setup, aiming for 6000MHz CL36 is a solid choice without going too high in price. Just something to keep in mind!

Thanks for the advice! I think I’ll go for the 6000/CL36 sticks.
