I'm assembling my first PC and I'm almost done with my planning. Here's what I have:
* CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D (Zen 5)
* GPU: ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Prime
* Motherboard: MSI PRO B850-P WIFI
* RAM Option 1: Kingston Fury Beast 32GB (2x16GB) 5600MHz CL40 (~$300 USD)
* RAM Option 2: G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 7200MHz CL34 (~$200 USD)
I've been hunting for RAM, and I found the G.SKILL kit for much cheaper than the Kingston one, despite its higher clock speed and lower latency. Now I'm wondering if using the 7200MHz G.SKILL RAM is a smart choice for my components, or if I'll run into trouble during installation or usage. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

In the worst case, you'll just run it at slower speeds. It’s not a huge deal if you have to adjust it a bit.
I say go for the G.Skill RAM! Just set it to the EXPO profile and underclock it to around 6000MT/s (3000MHz) for stability. It'll perform perfectly fine.
The 7200MHz kit should work, but you might need to underclock to 6000MHz. There are plenty of guides out there to help you do this, so you should be okay! Faster RAM can be better, but not always stable right off the bat.
It should work, but be careful with XMP settings—sometimes they can be unstable. Just keep an eye on that.
The 7200 kit might not be the best unless you're comfortable underclocking or tuning it. It's unlikely to work out of the box with the AM5 CPU. For ease of use, something around 6000C30 would be ideal, but with current market it's understandable to settle for 6000C36. The 9800X3D handles RAM better than older models due to its extra cache, so lower-spec RAM won't hurt performance as much as it would on something like the 9700X.
