I recently purchased a Thermalright Phantom Spirit Evo 120 cooler for my Intel i5-14600KF processor. While playing Battlefield 6, I'm seeing temperatures around 83-84 degrees Celsius. Is this temperature normal, or is there an issue with my setup?

Honestly, those temps aren't too concerning. BF6 is pretty demanding, so it makes sense to see higher readings during gameplay. Just keep an eye on it. Other games, like Marvel's Spider-Man 2, show much lower temps, like 60-70 degrees, so that's normal too.
I don't have direct experience with that specific CPU, but when it hits turbo boost, it can pull around 180 watts or more, depending on your motherboard settings. Seeing those temps in demanding games like Battlefield 6 doesn't seem out of the ordinary. For reference, my Ryzen 5950x hits similar temps with slightly higher power consumption using the non-evo Phantom Spirit.
I have a 125W cooler in my PC, and I'm getting similar temperature readings.
If you're worried about the heat, consider getting a Thermalright LGA1700 Contact Frame for about $10. It can really help drop temperatures by 3-7 degrees by ensuring the cooler is seated properly on the chip.
Would the Thermalright BCF LGA1700 from AliExpress be a good alternative?
Do you have a contact frame installed? It might help with the cooler's efficiency.
No, I don't have one.

Definitely agree! In Arc Raiders, I'm also seeing temps around 83-84.
