Is 8GB VRAM Enough for 1080p Esports Gaming?

I'm trying to decide between getting the 8GB 5060 Ti or the 16GB 9060 XT for my build. I want to know if 8GB of VRAM is enough for playing esports games at 1080p, or if I should invest in the higher VRAM option. Any help would be appreciated!

Go for the 16GB version. The 9060 XT not only offers more VRAM but allows you to play anything you want without worrying about limitations. You don’t want to be stuck with only 8GB as some games just won’t perform well with that.

If you're focusing on esports games at 1080p, the 5060 Ti should be fine, but honestly, the 4060 might be a better choice unless you're looking for something extra powerful. Don’t forget to consider getting a good CPU too!

Honestly, the 16GB RX 9060 XT is going to give you much better performance in a lot of games. If you check the benchmarks for the specific titles you play, you'll see the difference.

While 8GB is technically enough for most esports, the 9060 XT with 16GB really just outshines it for the same price. If you're serious about gaming, I'd say go with the 16GB option for peace of mind.

I'd recommend the 16GB too. While 8GB might work for your current needs, you don't want to limit yourself, especially with a new purchase. The 16GB will ensure you won't face issues down the road.

Thanks for the input! I just want to make sure I’m set for a while.
