Is 90% GPU usage normal for gaming?

I just built my first PC and was playing Arc Raiders for the first time. I noticed my GPU usage hit about 90%. Is that considered normal, even though I have capped my FPS? Is high GPU usage healthy for my system? Just to give you context, I'm using a 5070 Ti. Thanks for any insights!

Yeah, that's totally normal. Just curious, what's your FPS cap set to and what resolution are you playing at?

It's completely normal to see your GPU usage at around 90%, especially if you're capping your FPS. If your GPU isn't hitting 100%, it just means you're not fully maximizing its potential because of the FPS cap. So, it's expected when you set limits.

You're doing just fine! Using your GPU efficiently is great, and as long as your temperatures are in check, you’re all good. Enjoy the power you paid for!

Exactly! Keeping the thermals good is key. Just clean out dust every now and then and you're golden.

And remember, no need to stress about bottlenecks unless you notice real performance issues. You're maximizing your hardware!
