I have a Ryzen 7 7700 paired with a Gamdias BOREAS P2-62D Dual Tower Air CPU Cooler that even has a display. I'm curious to know if 44.1°C is a good temperature for my CPU when it's idling. What do you think?

That idle temp seems fine. Just out of curiosity, what are the temps while your CPU is under load? That’ll give a better idea of how it’s performing overall.
Your idle temps are average. Ideally, you might want to aim for under 70°C while gaming, but if you keep it under 75°C during intense tasks, you’re good.
Idle temps can be a bit misleading, honestly. As long as you're not hitting close to 80°C under load, you should be in a good spot. Also, remember that your fan curve can significantly impact idle temperatures.
44.1°C is pretty normal for idle temps. What’re your temps like when gaming, for example? 60-70°C is well within an acceptable range while playing demanding games like Witcher 3.
