I'm putting together a PC with an ASRock H610M-HVS/M.2 R2.0 motherboard, an Intel Core i3-12100F, a GTX 1050 Ti connected to the monitor over HDMI, and 16GB of RAM in two 8GB sticks. Would a 600W power supply be sufficient for this setup?

You could use a larger power supply if you want extra capacity for future upgrades, but it isnโ€™t necessary for this build. The motherboard and case may limit how worthwhile major upgrades would be, so buying a reliable, appropriately rated unit matters more than simply choosing a higher wattage.

MellowPine47: That makes sense. Iโ€™ll focus on getting a good-quality unit rather than going much higher in wattage.

Yes, 600W is more than enough for those components. This system has relatively modest power requirements, so a decent-quality 600W unit should provide plenty of headroom.

Even systems with considerably more powerful processors and graphics cards can run on a quality 500W unit, so 600W is comfortably sufficient here. Just make sure the power supply is from a reputable manufacturer and has the necessary connectors.
