Is a 750W Power Supply Sufficient for the 9070/9070 XT Graphics Cards?

I'm considering purchasing one of the following XFX graphics cards: Quicksilver 9070 OC, Quicksilver 9070 XT non-OC, Mercury 9070 XT OC, or Swift 9070 XT non-OC. Can anyone tell me if a 750W power supply will be enough for these models, or should I opt for an 850W unit instead?

Just make sure to check the label on your power supply. If it's ATX 3 or a newer model, it should handle these cards easily. But if it's an older ATX 2 model, check that the 12V rail has at least 60 amps. Below that, it's kind of risky unless you have a less powerful CPU.

It’s generally enough unless you have a high-end CPU like a Ryzen 9 or an Intel Core Ultra 7. In those cases, going for an 850W would be safer. Yeah, a 750W power supply should be sufficient for the 9070 and 9070 XT graphics cards. They won't push the limits of your PSU in most scenarios.

A 750W unit is just fine, but keep in mind that if you're gonna buy new, 850W models aren't that much more expensive and give you some extra headroom. Just something to consider!
