I'm in Korea and was considering buying a brand-new RTX 3060 Ti for about 525,000 won. However, it's an older graphics card, the manufacturer isn't especially well known, and the price feels high for its age. Newer options like the RTX 5060 cost around 680,000–700,000 won here, while the Radeon RX 9060 XT is roughly 700,000 won. I mainly play at 1080p, and spending around 500,000 won is possible, though I'd prefer to spend less. Would the 3060 Ti still be a reasonable purchase, or should I look for a newer or used GPU?

The 3060 Ti’s biggest weakness is its 8GB of VRAM. At 1080p it should be fine for many games on medium to high settings, but newer demanding games can require reduced textures or upscaling. It also isn’t a great choice if you care about ray tracing or want the card to last several more years.
Only consider that 3060 Ti if it becomes significantly cheaper than newer alternatives. Since it’s an unusual brand and could potentially be refurbished or old stock, make sure there’s a real warranty. A used card from a reliable seller might offer better value than this brand-new one.
The brand is Axle, which I’m not very familiar with, so the warranty and condition are concerns.
I’d skip the 3060 Ti at that price. It can still handle 1080p, but 525,000 won is too close to the cost of newer cards that offer better performance and longer support. Check the RTX 5060 and RX 9060 XT, and also compare reputable used cards if you want to stay under budget.
