I've been using an RX 6600 for the past couple of years, but now I'm looking to upgrade to an RX 6700 XT. The manufacturer recommends a 650W PSU for optimal performance, but I currently have a Corsair CV550. I'm wondering if this power supply will be sufficient for my new setup or if I'll need to replace it. Here's my current rig configuration:
- ASRock B450M Steel Legend
- Ryzen 5 5600
- 4x8 Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2666 MHz
- Deepcool AK620 DIGITAL cooler
- Samsung 970 Evo 512 GB M.2 SSD
- Samsung SATA SSD 256 GB
- 2 Seagate HDDs (1TB and 512GB)
- Currently using RX 6600

You should be fine with the CV550 for your setup, but it's cutting it close. Just keep an eye on power usage, especially during gaming, to ensure stability.
I’d give it a try, but be cautious. The RX 6700 XT can pull around 360W. I checked, and your rig's estimated wattage is about 448W, but that might be at full load, so consider that.
I found the same thing on PC Parts Picker; it looks like you may run into issues under heavy gaming.
What do you mean by 'GR'? I'm not familiar with that acronym.
