I'm building a new PC and I'm considering using a Corsair CX650M power supply with a GeForce 5060 Ti and a Ryzen 7 processor. I've seen mixed reviews about this power supply, so I'm curious about whether it's safe and sufficient for my build. I'm not planning to run demanding games at ultra settings, more like medium to low quality for typical gaming. Should I be concerned about whether the PSU will fail or provide enough power?

650W is actually more than enough for your setup. The CX-M series has its critics, but as long as you're not pushing it hard with ultra settings, it should work just fine. It’s a solid choice if you’re trying to keep costs down without risking your build. Just watch out for power fluctuations in your area; that can make a difference. Otherwise, enjoy your new build!

You're good with the wattage! The CX-M should serve you well. It's not usually my first choice because there are more robust power supplies out there, but it’s safe and won't catch fire or anything. If budget is a concern, the CX-M isn’t the worst option, just be aware it won’t last as long as a higher-end model. Planning for future builds is smart, so if you can swing it, consider investing a bit more in a better PSU!
