Hey everyone! I'm about to upgrade my CPU from a 7700x to a 9800X3D this Friday, along with a new CPU cooler. I've been doing some research, but I keep coming across different opinions. Given my specific upgrade, do you think it's necessary to do a fresh install of Windows 11? My BIOS is up to date, and my motherboard is compatible for this upgrade. Appreciate any help!

Generally, it's best to do a fresh Windows install whenever you switch motherboards. But since you're just upgrading your CPU, you should be fine. Just make sure your BIOS is updated for the new chip.
