Hey folks! I'm based in India and I'm considering buying a used computer for basic tasks. I've come across a deal for a complete setup priced at 7000 INR, which includes 16GB of DDR4 RAM, a 500GB SATA 2.5 SSD, and an Intel i5-6600 processor. I'm wondering if this is a good buy or if I should pass on it.

Honestly, pricing can vary a lot depending on where you live. That said, the i5-6600 is nearly a decade old, so you might want to think about how long you plan to use it before upgrading.

Yeah, it sounds like it's roughly around 80 USD, which isn't terrible for those specs.

It really hinges on what you intend to do with it. I’ve had issues running Discord and a game simultaneously on my older i5-5500k. If you’re looking at regular work like attending meetings or practicing cloud services, it should work fine. But keep in mind, the value of the RAM alone could very well match the price.
