Is a used RTX 3070 worth paying $30 more than a 3060 Ti?

I was originally planning to buy a used RTX 3060 Ti for about $224, but I haven't found many good deals. I'm seeing several RTX 3070 listings around $256, so the actual difference is roughly $30 after converting from PHP. Is the RTX 3070 worth paying extra for, or should I stick with the 3060 Ti? Also, some RTX 3070 Ti cards cost another $15–$30, so I'm wondering whether that upgrade is worth considering too.

You could also look at the 3070 Ti if it’s only another $15–$30, but check benchmarks and power requirements first. The Ti model usually offers a smaller improvement than the jump from a 3060 Ti to a 3070, while drawing more power and potentially running hotter.

For only $30 more, I’d go with the RTX 3070. It’s roughly 10% faster than the 3060 Ti, so the price premium is pretty reasonable as long as the card is in comparable condition and the extra cost won’t strain your budget.

Yes, the 3070 is the better deal at that difference. The performance increase isn’t enormous, but $30 is small enough that it makes sense to buy the faster card, especially if you’re playing at higher settings or resolutions.
