With the convenience of AI, I've noticed that I rely on it too much, making traditional learning feel daunting and difficult. Recently, I attempted to read articles and documentation on these subjects, but I couldn't focus or piece together complex information. Instead, I found myself switching to YouTube and wasting hours.
I've kept a technical journal and noted how using AI actually saves me time, but I fear that I'm losing my mental endurance and resistance. It feels too easy to get answers without the discomfort of deep focus and struggle that once built my skills. I'm concerned that if I continue to rely on AI, I won't develop the necessary resilience to tackle difficult topics independently.
What can I realistically do? I need to land my first internship, but I don't want to half-ass my efforts in learning, especially when AI makes everything feel too easy.

Start by using AI as a tool to help you grasp the basics; once you've got that foundation, dive into the documentation yourself. There’s a ton of solid material on OAuth out there! I did something similar a few months back and now I’m proud to say I've successfully implemented it myself. You can totally do this!
Exactly! AI can get you started, but to really understand the code, you've got to dive deeper on your own. It might help you open the door, but you'll need that foundational knowledge to navigate on your own later.
