Is AI Making It Harder to Learn and Build Mental Endurance?

I've been struggling with my learning process lately, specifically when it comes to technical topics like OAuth 2 and multi-tenant architecture. With the convenience of AI, I've noticed that I rely on it too much, making traditional learning feel daunting and difficult. Recently, I attempted to read articles and documentation on these subjects, but I couldn't focus or piece together complex information. Instead, I found myself switching to YouTube and wasting hours. I've kept a technical journal and noted how using AI actually saves me time, but I fear that I'm losing my mental endurance and resistance. It feels too easy to get answers without the discomfort of deep focus and struggle that once built my skills. I'm concerned that if I continue to rely on AI, I won't develop the necessary resilience to tackle difficult topics independently. What can I realistically do? I need to land my first internship, but I don't want to half-ass my efforts in learning, especially when AI makes everything feel too easy.
