Is an 850W Gold Power Supply Enough for a 5080 FE and 9800X3D?

Hey everyone! I'm looking to build a PC and I'm wondering if a Gold 850-watt power supply would be sufficient for a 5080 Founders Edition and a 9800X3D processor. I appreciate any advice you can offer! Thanks!

850W should technically be enough for your setup, but it's right on the edge. Some folks suggest going for a slightly larger PSU to allow for future upgrades. If your budget allows, consider bumping up to a 1000W.

PCNerd73: I calculated the wattage with parts from PCPartPicker, and it estimates about 639W. Would 850W still be safe, or should I just go for the 1000W?
