I'm looking to build a PC with a 4070 Ti and a 9850X3D, and I want to know if an 850W power supply will be enough to power everything. I'm trying to keep costs reasonable, so any advice on the right PSU would be appreciated!

The Montech Century II comes in both 850W and 1050W versions. If you might upgrade in the future, consider the 1050W version for some extra capacity without going overboard.

An 850W supply is plenty for your build! Even the new 5090s only recommend a 1000W PSU, so you're good to go with 850W.

I’m using the same combo with a 1000W PSU and it’s been great. A little extra headroom never hurts!

Also, if you have an AIO cooler with an LCD and some fans, keep in mind they add to the total power requirements. Just something to consider, but 850W should handle it fine.

Absolutely, an 850W power supply should work fine for your setup! Just make sure to check the brand and quality of the PSU. I found a solid 1000W option for about $90 if you're looking for more headroom.
