I recently finished building my PC and am considering adding an RX 5700 XT Anniversary Edition as a secondary GPU for Lossless Scaling. My primary card is an RX 9060 XT 8GB, and the system also has a Ryzen 5 9600X, a B850M Eagle WiFi6E ICE motherboard, and an ASUS Prime 850W Gold power supply. Would 850W be enough for both graphics cards, and would using a second GPU for Lossless Scaling provide any meaningful benefit?

An 850W Gold unit should generally have enough capacity for that combination. A 5700 XT can draw roughly 200–250W under load, while the newer card and CPU add the rest, so you should still have reasonable headroom with a quality PSU. Just make sure the power supply has the required PCIe connectors and that the motherboard has enough physical space and suitable slots.
The bigger question is whether the second GPU is worthwhile. Lossless Scaling may be able to use another GPU, but the extra card also adds power consumption, heat, noise, and possible driver or configuration issues. In many cases, the performance improvement may be modest, so it’s worth testing the primary GPU by itself first and comparing frame pacing and latency before committing to the dual-GPU setup.
