I'm currently using an Intel i7-11700F, a Radeon 9060 XT with 16GB of VRAM, and 32GB of DDR4 memory. I'm considering upgrading to an i5-14600KF with a new motherboard because I'm trying to get back to around 240 FPS in the games I play and suspect my CPU is holding the graphics card back. Would the 14600KF be a worthwhile combination, especially if I want to keep using my DDR4 RAM?

The 14600KF plus a motherboard is reasonable if keeping your DDR4 saves money, but if you’re replacing the motherboard anyway, compare the total price against newer platforms instead of looking only at the CPU.
