Is anyone else seeing connectivity and performance problems with Azure services in the Netherlands? The public Azure status page is often failing to load, and Microsoft portals such as Entra ID, Intune, and the health dashboard are extremely slow or unavailable. We're also seeing login failures, timeouts, unreachable Azure databases, intermittent API errors, and 504 responses from Azure-hosted websites. The problems appear to improve when switching from a VodafoneZiggo or Ziggo connection to mobile data, so it may be an ISP routing issue rather than a general Azure outage. Similar reports have come from parts of the UK and France as well.

A useful workaround is to test from a different network, such as a mobile hotspot. Multiple people report that Azure and sign-in services work normally over mobile data but become unstable on VodafoneZiggo wired connections. That suggests regional carrier routing or peering trouble, even if the underlying Azure services are healthy.
We’re seeing the same thing over a business Ziggo fiber connection in the Netherlands. Microsoft portals are very slow, Entra sign-in can fail, and Azure-hosted sites sometimes time out. Everything works much more reliably over a 5G hotspot on another carrier, which points strongly toward a VodafoneZiggo routing or connectivity problem.
That matches what we’re seeing too. Most reports here involve VodafoneZiggo or Ziggo connections, so I’m contacting the ISP to see whether they’re investigating.
Several users in the Netherlands are reporting intermittent Azure problems: unreachable databases, failed Intune and API requests, deployment issues, and timeouts to Azure websites. Some users in the UK and France are seeing similar symptoms, although the official service health information doesn’t show a clear incident yet.
The service health page only shows an unrelated Redis provisioning notice for me. Since the public status page is also unreliable, it may not be reflecting this issue yet.

We noticed the same pattern: users on wired Vodafone connections have inconsistent access, while mobile internet works. The failures come and go every few minutes rather than staying completely down.
