I came across a used FSP Hydro PTM Pro 1000W Platinum ATX 2.0 power supply for about $75, and the seller mentioned they've only used it for over two years. They're switching because they're upgrading to a new graphics card. The power supply is still under warranty, so I'm wondering if it's a good deal or if I should be cautious when buying secondhand. What should I consider before making a decision?

I personally wouldn’t go for a used power supply unless it comes from a complete system. There could be unknown issues from its previous usage that could cause problems.
If the power supply has decent specs and a high wattage, it’s generally okay to buy if it’s under 5 years old. Anything older than that might be risky, especially if it’s been heavily used. Just make sure you check the warranty details to be safe.
With it still being under warranty, you have some protection. Just make sure there aren’t any hidden clauses that could affect the warranty. If all looks good, it sounds like you’ve found a solid deal!
Used power supplies can be hit or miss. If they come with a long warranty like 7+ years, then I think it’s usually fine to buy. Sounds like you’re good if it has 10 years and is only 2 years old.

Yeah, I was a bit worried about that too, but it seems straightforward. Thanks!
