I'm experiencing some strange behavior with ChatGPT since it rolled out its new memory feature. Today, I asked it to help me write a press release about a certain topic, but instead, it started talking about backing up a remote server! Then it completely switched gears and began writing in French. I know my prompt was clear, so I'm confused. Has anyone else faced similar issues with the memory feature? Is there a way to stop it from mixing contexts from previous chats or improve its focus on current prompts? I'd love any tips or hacks to deal with this frustrating situation!

Have you tried turning off the 'Reference Chat History' option in your settings? It might help reduce the confusion.

I've found using a cool prompt generator online really helps. Just type what you want and it gives you a structured prompt that's usually much clearer for ChatGPT. Might be worth a shot!
