Is CL30 or CL26 RAM Better for Gaming Performance?

I'm planning to purchase 32 GB of RAM with a speed of 6000 MHz. I usually play a mix of 4K story-driven games and CPU-intensive FPS games at 1080P. I'm curious if opting for CL26 over CL30 will give me any significant performance advantages.

The community tends to overhype RAM speeds and timings. Even if you're running at something like 4800MHz CL40, the performance drop isn’t something that most users would even notice. You’re still doing pretty well with 6000 CL30.

You won't see any meaningful benefits unless you’re obsessively bench-testing. For most gamers, CL30 works just fine, and any speed differences are so tiny they'll be lost in the noise of your gaming experience.

Going from DDR4 to DDR5 can offer minimal FPS boost as well. You’re likely looking at just a few frames difference in your games. So, overall, CL30 should serve you just as well as CL26.

In my experience, especially with AMD systems, the overall speed (like 6000 MHz) is much more important than the CAS latency in gaming. I've tried both CL30 and CL36, and honestly, I didn't notice any FPS difference in my games.
