Is Downgrading to iOS 17.6.1 Possible on the iPhone 17 Pro Max?

Just a heads-up, it's a firm no on downgrading. I get the appeal of iOS 17.6.1, but if you’re thinking of switching from your iPhone 14 Pro Max, you might want to reconsider based on that alone. Apple really tightens the screws on software versions.

Unfortunately, you can’t downgrade to an earlier iOS version. Apple doesn’t allow it for newer devices, and since the iPhone 17 Pro Max is fresh on the market, you wouldn’t even be able to access an older OS that way.
