I'm currently looking into new mobile device management (MDM) solutions, and even though we primarily use Google tools, we're considering Microsoft Intune. I've heard mixed reviews about it, particularly regarding its performance and the time it takes for policies to apply. Is it true that people mostly use it due to EMS licensing? What's the general consensus?

Intune definitely gets a bad rap sometimes, but I think that’s more about individual experiences than the tool itself. A lot of large enterprises and government organizations rely on it because it works well, especially in environments heavily integrated with Microsoft products. Just remember, people are more likely to complain online than those who have a smooth experience!

Right! It’s not perfect, but if your company is already invested in Microsoft, it can be a good deal. We’ve made the switch from manual imaging to Intune, and it’s made deploying systems so much easier. Sure, it can take time to roll out policies, but it’s way more efficient than doing things the old way.
