Is it a Good Idea to Buy My GPU Last for My First PC Build?

Hey everyone! I'm really excited to start building my first PC, but I'm on a tight budget. I've been checking out parts on pcpartpicker.com, and I noticed that the GPU is taking up nearly half of my total budget. I can save up enough to buy the CPU, motherboard, RAM, and power supply in the next couple of months, but the GPU will require a few more months of saving. My CPU has integrated graphics, so I should be able to test my other components without a dedicated GPU. Do you think it's a reasonable plan to buy the GPU last? I would love to hear your thoughts and any advice you might have. Thanks a lot!

That sounds perfectly reasonable! Since your CPU has an integrated GPU, you can definitely get video output and test everything out. You wonโ€™t be able to game on it, but for general tasks, you should be set. Just make sure the parts are all working before you grab the GPU later!

FirstTimeBuilder22: Thanks! I was really worried about the possibility of buying parts that would be DOA, so this makes me feel a lot better.
