Is it a good time to buy a GPU, or should I wait?

Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to build a new PC in the next few months, but I'm short on cash for all the parts right now. I just found out that GPU prices are expected to rise soon due to RAM shortages, and I'm eyeing the 9060 XT 16GB for my build. Should I snag the GPU now before prices go up, or would it be wiser to wait until I have enough funds to buy everything at once? Thanks in advance for your insights!

I’d recommend buying the GPU now! If your current setup is underperforming, it’ll be worth it. Just make sure to check the return policy in case something goes wrong.

Totally! If something goes wrong, do remember that it should be covered under warranty, so you don't need to stress too much about the return window.

It really depends on how long you plan to wait. If you're looking at a full year, maybe hold off. But if you're just waiting a couple of months, it might be worth buying now since prices are low but are likely to rise due to RAM shortages.

Yeah, I agree! If it’s just a few months, then grabbing it now makes sense. If you have a perfectly good reason to delay, then that’s another story.

If you're planning to build soon, I'd say go ahead and buy the GPU. Prices for the 9060 XT 16GB are anticipated to jump by about $40 in the next month or so. Better to act before it gets more expensive!

Definitely get it now! It's only a matter of time before prices rise—especially with the RAM issues. Plus, if you already have a laptop, you can test the GPU in there and make sure it works before the build.

I don’t believe in waiting. I picked up a nice setup recently, and if I had waited for prices, I would've missed out on some great deals. Just get what you need for the performance you're aiming for!
