I recently bought a second-hand iPhone 13 Pro with 95% battery health, but I'm really concerned about the battery performance. It charges super quickly—like going from 61% to 100% in just over an hour—but it also drains about 20% in just 30 minutes of use. I've checked that there isn't a service history for the battery, and I don't think it was replaced. I've also disabled any battery-draining settings I found online. I've heard that iPhone batteries tend to drain quickly, but this feels odd. Is this typical, or should I be worried about the battery health? Any insights would be appreciated!

Fast charging generally works faster when the battery is below 80%. After that, the charging slows down significantly. So, it sounds like your iPhone is charging as it should. However, the quick battery drainage is concerning. It might not just be typical battery use. Keep an eye on any specific apps draining battery, and check your settings. If it continues, it could be a sign of an aging battery or something else.

What about the rate at which it drains? Losing 20% in 30 minutes seems pretty steep, even for an older battery. Could there be something running in the background that you're missing?
