My PC runs normally, but when I play games it gives off very warm air and the case becomes almost too hot to touch. One temperature reading I saw was about 74°C (165°F), and the computer is sitting on a desk near a window. Is this expected, or should I be worried about overheating or poor airflow?

The case can still feel very hot if airflow is limited or the room is poorly ventilated. Check that your fans are oriented correctly, with cool air entering through the intake fans and hot air leaving through the exhaust fans. Clean any dust filters and make sure the vents have clear space around them.
Warm air coming out of the case is normal during gaming because the CPU and graphics card turn electrical power into heat. Around 74°C is generally a safe temperature for most components under load, although you should check the CPU, GPU, and overall system temperatures separately to see which part is producing the heat.
