I'm trying to connect my PS5 controller to my PC and I notice that the Bluetooth range is incredibly limited—only inches! I don't have any external Bluetooth devices. I'm using a B650 Gaming Plus Wi-Fi motherboard with the antennas attached, and I sit about 7 feet away from my PC. However, the connection drops unless I'm right next to the case. Is it normal for onboard Bluetooth to be this weak, or could there be an issue with my PS5 controller?

Are you sure those antennas are meant for Bluetooth? Some motherboards don’t include Bluetooth antennas. If your B550 didn’t come with one, you might be relying on Wi-Fi antennas instead.
It sounds like your antenna may not be installed properly. Double-check that it's secured because it should help with the Bluetooth range.
Yeah, that definitely seems like an issue with your antennas. My setup acts similar when they aren't connected or functioning.

They are attached correctly, and my Wi-Fi works just fine. So I’m a bit confused about the Bluetooth issue!
