Is it okay to leave my PC on for 5 days straight?

I've been hearing mixed opinions about whether it's fine to leave my PC running without turning it off for several days. Some friends say it's totally fine, especially for gaming, but I wanted to check in a more knowledgeable space. Is there any risk to leaving my PC on for like 5 days?

Totally fine! I’ve had a pretty terrible PC running 24/7 for over 3 months now. Just ensure that it stays cool and you won't run into any problems.

While AFK gaming isn’t something I’d recommend for days, leaving it running isn’t harmful if you aren’t stressing it with demanding tasks. Just let it chill for a bit!

As long as your cooling is sufficient, it’s not a problem. I have 3 systems running non-stop, and they only shut down if there's a power outage. No issues so far!

You should have no worries if your power supply is good. I’ve had my beastly workstation running continuously for over 100 days without a hitch, so it really can depend on what you have.
