I'm in a bit of a pickle with my RAM situation. I ordered a 32GB RAM kit for 200€, but found out it won't arrive until February. Prices have skyrocketed, and I saw another kit that's available sooner for around the same price but has a CAS Latency (CL) of 36 instead of 30 like the one I ordered. The MHz and capacity are the same, and they're both from the same brand. Will mixing these RAM kits cause any problems, or is it safe to use both?

Mixing RAM with different CL can lead to the system defaulting to the slower speed. So, either your PC might run at the slower CL36, or it could potentially cause stability issues like crashes or blue screens. It's generally safer to stick with matched RAM specs, but it might not be catastrophic if you try it out.

Haha, as long as there's no explosion involved, right? Just worried about those instability issues!
