Hey everyone! I'm currently studying at a college that doesn't seem to lead anywhere, and I'm thinking about switching to computer science. I'd like to start fresh at a new school, but my work schedule makes it difficult. Can anyone tell me if it's feasible to get a bachelor's degree in computer science entirely online? I'm based in New York City. Thanks a lot!

Check out WGU (Western Governors University). They offer fully online programs and have a good reputation for flexibility and support!

I got my computer engineering degree completely online from Devry University. Honestly, it's not the best school and I don't think I received as thorough an education as I would have in person. But now that I have industry experience, it hasn’t mattered at all. The tough part is getting your first job, as online degrees aren't always viewed the same as traditional ones. But once you're in, it’s generally irrelevant!

I'm studying at SNHU and really enjoying the experience. If you need to knock out liberal arts courses, consider using Sophia Learning or Study.com. You can earn credits for those courses and save both time and money! Just make sure to run it by your academic advisor to ensure those credits will transfer. Good luck!
