Is it Possible to Learn App Development Alone in 6 Months?

I've recently teamed up with three co-founders to start a small business. Each of us has our own role: one is focused on marketing and design, another on business operations, and I'm responsible for developing our app. I'm quite familiar with AI and can craft good prompts, but I want to do more than just rely on AI to build the entire product. I've put together a list of tools and technologies I plan to learn. I already know Python, JavaScript, and the basics of PHP and SQLite, and I have some experience with Git and GitHub. However, I'm green when it comes to frameworks or libraries—especially React and React Native—and I've never set up continuous integration or continuous deployment (CI/CD). I'm determined to learn and have set aside around six months to develop the app, using AI to assist me. My main concern is whether it's realistic to accomplish all of this in that timeframe while managing all the development work solo until we can hire more developers.

It's great that you're taking on this challenge! Keep in mind that most full-stack developers spend years honing their skills, so six months is a tight timeline if you're starting from scratch. It might be helpful to consider outsourcing some parts, especially if complex issues come up as you're building.

I plan to use Replit, and I'm considering launching the app with about 95% of the coding supported by AI. I really care about maintenance and adding features later on.
