I'm curious about whether I can take the NVMe SSD from my laptop and use it in my gaming desktop. The SSD is currently the only one in my laptop, but the battery on the laptop is dead. If I switch it to the desktop, will it work as a new storage drive? Also, do I need to delete anything from it before switching, and if I eventually get a new battery for my laptop, could I put the SSD back into it?

Are you looking to boot from your laptop's Windows install or just want to add it as extra storage? If it's just for games, then it's perfect for that since it’s your main drive. Just remember to format it for your desktop when you switch it over!
