I'm looking to download a pretty big game—about 50 GB—but my internet isn't the fastest, so it'll take a while. Is it okay to let my laptop download it overnight while it's plugged in, or could that cause any issues?

What are you worried about happening? There's a concern about battery health, right? My brother said his laptop's battery started draining faster because he keeps it running overnight.

Honestly, I wouldn’t do it every night, but an occasional overnight download should be okay. Just be careful not to let it overheat by keeping it on a soft surface.

Yeah, it's generally fine to leave your laptop downloading overnight. Just make sure it’s placed on a hard surface for proper airflow, so it doesn't overheat.

You can definitely leave it downloading overnight! Just remember to adjust your power settings—don't let it go to sleep while plugged in. And keep it on a flat surface for good ventilation.

I've been torrenting nonstop for ages without any major issues, so you should be fine with 50 GB. Just avoid blocking the vents!
