I have a quick question about using extension cords with my PC and monitor. Is it okay to plug them into an extension cord? I want to make sure I'm doing it safely. Any advice would be super helpful, thanks!

Yeah, you can plug your PC or monitor into an extension cord, but just make sure that the extension cord is rated for the power you need. I recommend using a heavy-duty one, like those bright orange cords you see in garages rather than the flimsy 2-prong ones meant for Christmas lights.

If the extension cord is grounded and can handle the wattage, then you’re good to go! Just be cautious about those cheaper options.

Ohh, I’ve seen those orange ones before, but I only have the cheaper ones... Is that a problem?

Yeah, it might be safer to invest in a good quality one if you're using it for your PC or monitor!
