I have a gaming laptop that I use for playing games and a MacBook for work. When I'm not using my gaming laptop, I often stack my MacBook on top of it. I'm curious if this is safe for both of my devices and whether it might be causing any long-term damage. Any advice on this?

If both laptops are turned off or in sleep mode, stacking them is totally fine! I've worked in IT and we would stack them frequently. Just avoid putting too many on top of each other because too much weight can be a problem.
Just keep in mind that stacking can put pressure on your desk. That could lead to issues with the surface over time. It's mainly the desk that might not handle it well.
It really comes down to how careful you are. Both heat and weight can cause issues if you're not mindful, so just be cautious.
Laptops typically vent from the bottom, so if your gaming laptop runs hot, it might not be the best idea to stack them. Remember, heat is a killer for tech! Every 10 degrees increase can halve the lifespan, especially for gaming rigs.
