Is It Safe to Use 2×8 Pins with a 12HPWR Connector for My New GPU?

I'm planning to get a GeForce RTX 5070 and it includes "2x 8-pin to 16-pin power cables." Since my power supply, the Thermalright TB650S, doesn't have a 12HPWR connector, I want to use the adapter that comes with the GPU. Is this setup safe? Will I encounter any burning or other issues?

Using a 2x8 pin to 12HPWR is totally fine for the RTX 5070. Lots of people are using similar setups without any problems. You should have no worries about safety there!

Yeah, a lot of users have been successful with these adapters. Just make sure you have enough PCI-E cables, as you'll need two 8-pin ones or a combination like 6+2 pins if that's all you have. Overall, people have had no major issues.
