Is It Safe to Use an Adapter for My 5070 GPU?

Hey everyone! I'm upgrading from a 3070 to a 5070, but I've run into a bit of an issue. The PCIe cables I have are too bulky for the new GPU. I found an adapter that seems to fit, but I'm unsure if it's safe and if it will provide enough power. Just want to make sure I'm not risking damage to my new graphics card. Here's a link with a photo for reference: https://imgur.com/a/f15e8Yk.

I think using an adapter is fine as long as you're careful. Make sure the adapter is rated to handle the power your GPU needs. Just keep an eye on the temperatures once everything is set up, just to be safe.

As long as you’re using quality cables and the adapter is designed for your GPU model, you should be good! Just verify the wattage requirements for the 5070 and ensure your power supply can handle it.
