Is it safe to use daisy-chained connectors for my GPU power needs?

I recently got a 9070 XT GPU that has three 8-pin connectors, and I'm using a Be Quiet Pure Power 12 1000W non-modular power supply. I'm curious if it's safe to connect the GPU using one 6+2 pin connector and two 6+2 pin connectors in a daisy chain. Will this setup provide enough power?

Your GPU has a max TDP of about 300 watts, and the safe limit for PCIe cables is around 225 watts. Dividing the power requirement by three means roughly 100 watts per connector. One cable on a daisy chain is actually fine, especially with the capabilities of Be Quiet cables. Ideally, using three separate cables is best for safety, but you're likely fine with this setup!

As long as your power supply can provide 300W per 8-pin cable, you should be good to go. That would total around 600W, which is plenty for even high-end GPUs. Double-check your PSU specs online to be sure!
